My name is Kate. Mother of three children- 6yrs, 3yrs, and 1yr old. I have become a stay at home mom and always a crafter. I consider myself "crafty" (vs. "creative") because I am better at the making part than the coming-up-with-the-idea part. I don't think I have limits on what I will make either. My interests range from big to small...requiring tools ranging from dainty jewelry pliers to a circular saw. However, I don't scrapbook. I know, you're thinking "who doesn't scrapbook?!" Well, I don't. I just don't know what I am doing. No matter how much I love the scrapbook paper (I buy it), I still don't know where to start. However, I will learn to make my own cards one day. Mostly, I sew. I will sew anything and everything.
I am constantly inspired to make things. My head is cluttered with ideas. Cluttered. I gain inspiration from anything from Pottery Barn Kids catalogs, the gazillion craft blogs that I read, and from my
I started this blog in hopes of clearing my head and organizing my crafty endeavors and ideas. I have not been very consistent in anything like this. So here's to my new approach to blogging and crafting! Here, here! Also, since having a third baby, I have been extra challenged in the kitchen and want to share my shortcuts with you.
Hope you'll stick with me and see what has been jumbling around in my head. Oh my goodness! I forgot to tell you- and I hope you will understand! I am not an expert by any means! Ha! But sometimes what I make turns out pretty decent. Nice, in fact! And other times, well...I just say "whatever"!
